How yoga Sadhana changed my perception towards Life & People.

Namaste,
My yoga journey started in my early 20’s under the guidance of An
enlightenend Master Anandmurti gurumaa, through listening and
contemplating on her satsang.

In 2009, I was suffering from cervical spondylitis
and started practicing yoga asana’s for the cure of it. Therafter slowly my
spiritual journey towards yoga sadhana started. It has been 15 years now and
the journey continues.

I met a lovely yoga teacher “Kalpana Venkateshji” who helped me grow in my
journey and taught me the true essence about the yogic practices.

A few years later, I met another Yoga Guru “Virupaksha Belavadi” under whose guidance I
enrolled on a teacher training course, and turned my passion towards yoga
journey into teaching.

Finally, I met my yoga Guru “Prasad Rangnekar” who transformed my life
completely. Since the day he entered my life, my sadhana has become easy
with fewer ups & downs and better maturity.

All about my sadhana
I wake up in bhramamuhurat by 3:30 am and still continue to…I start by
practising pranayam & sit for meditation. Later, I practice asana and yoga nidra
along with shwadhyaya.

Earlier I used to get worked up even if I missed a day
of my sadhana making me feel that without the practices am not complete.
Later with some introspection, I realised that my ego was becoming a hurdle
which came to my attention when I injured my toe.
During the process of sadhana, I understood that we go through many
difficulties as it’s not easy. The best part is that we see our own flaws which are
lying in our deep subconscious minds that sprout suddenly, making us guilty
and stressed. Slowly by continuing our sadhana, it gives us more strength and
our sadhana matures.

The yogic practices helped change my perception towards the world. I am
listing down the changes I felt towards myself and others.

1. Stopped judging and assuming things
2. Accepted each person in my life as they are
3. Stopped blaming others for my ups and downs in life
4. I have let go of my past and believed in living in the present moment
5. I have learnt to go with flow of life
6. Stopped holding on to things
7. Have become flexible mentally, (physically not much as the body’s anatomy
plays a major role in it…)
8. Have gained clarity in my teaching career and in the process of life.
9. A sense of well-being and satisfaction has become part of my life.
10. Have started loving each being on this very earth be it animal, human or
plant.

I bow in the lotus feet of my Gurus and seek blessing from them, and help those who come to my sessions in the same way as my Guru is helping and guiding me to transform my life. At last, I am grateful and I pay my gratitude
towards my Guru with whose grace am here today.

I thank my friend (or should I call her my soul mate), the one in whom I see me, today from the bottom of my heart as she has played a major role
in my life to encourage and push me in my journey.

My special thanks to my family especially my husband and daughter who have always been and are still supporting me to evolve in my journey.

My best wishes to all my friends and those who are connected to me and practising in my sessions. May you all grow and live a blissful and balanced life in harmony.
